The Plastic Cap Alcohol Lamp belongs to our specialised glassware and is mainly used for routine laboratory work. Standard sizes cover 150ml~250ml. For daily preparation, transfer and support work.
The body is made of plastic (grade confirmed at quotation); wide-mouth round bottles usually use PP or HDPE; the grade follows whether autoclaving or low-temperature storage is needed. It works between -10℃ to 80℃ depending on grade; chemically it resists most acids, alkalis and aqueous solutions; not for strong oxidizing acids or some organic solvents; light and drop resistant, opaque to translucent. Surface condition and residue are easy to verify, so cleaning completeness is obvious.
When selecting, confirm medium, temperature and connection first, then fix the size: the medium decides the material, the temperature decides whether heating or autoclaving is possible, and the connection decides whether it mates with existing apparatus. For duties outside the normal range — hot concentrated alkali, fluoride media, vacuum or repeated thermal cycling — our engineers can confirm a suitable option.
Parts are injection or blow moulded in one piece, air-cooled after mould release; interchangeability held by mould precision, keeping items of the same size interchangeable. Work is carried out at controlled stations to prevent scratches and cross-contamination.

Standard procedure
Inspect for cleanliness, cracks and chipped edges before use; a crack spreads quickly under heat or load, so retire the item at once and never patch it.
Assemble as required for various laboratory operations and confirm the connection is secure.
Pour or transfer slowly along the wall to avoid impact on the base and splashing; with volatile or foaming media a slow stream cuts losses and cross-contamination.
Clean promptly after use and choose the drying method according to the material; soak stubborn residues first and never scrape the wall with hard tools.
Before first use, clean according to the material; soak in dilute acid where appropriate, rinse thoroughly and dry. New items may carry processing aids, so clean before contact with samples.
Store without stacking or impact, in a ventilated and dry place; long stacking deforms the base, and volumetric ware should stand on its own.
