Product Description
1. Overview
Widely used in wet chemistry, sample preparation and teaching laboratories.
highest chemical inertness among common plastics, virtually no swelling or leaching. It works between -196℃ to 260℃, short-term up to 300℃; only molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine attack it; very low surface energy, non-stick, minimal sample retention. Surface condition and residue are easy to verify, so cleaning completeness is obvious.
When selecting, confirm medium, temperature and connection first, then fix the size: the medium decides the material, the temperature decides whether heating or autoclaving is possible, and the connection decides whether it mates with existing apparatus. For duties outside the normal range — hot concentrated alkali, fluoride media, vacuum or repeated thermal cycling — our engineers can confirm a suitable option.
2. Key properties
- Working temperature: -196℃ to 260℃, short-term up to 300℃
- only molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine attack it
- Surface: very low surface energy, non-stick, minimal sample retention
3. Manufacturing and inspection
sealing faces finish-machined then lapped, keeping items of the same size interchangeable. Work is carried out at controlled stations to prevent scratches and cross-contamination.
Each item is checked for appearance, dimensions and fit before dispatch; sampling covers capacity or graduation deviation, joint fit and wall uniformity. Items from the same batch stay consistent in size and feel, which simplifies central storage and reordering. Inspection records and batch information are available with the goods.
