Product Description

I. Overview

The dropper bulb is a rubber accessory for glass droppers used in laboratories. Manufactured from high-quality natural rubber (NR) or silicone rubber (VMQ) via precision compression molding, offering good elasticity, strong sealing, and reliable liquid transfer performance.

Available in 1~5ml capacities, compatible with 5~10mm ID glass droppers for various laboratory liquid handling needs.

🔬 Product Advantages:
Good Elasticity — Responsive compression and rebound
Strong Sealing — Tight fit with glass droppers, no leaks
Multiple Capacities — 1~5ml for different volume needs
Two Materials — NR/VMQ for different applications
Easy to Use — Ready to install, no special tools

II. Key Performance Parameters

  • Material: NR / VMQ
  • For ID: 5~10mm
  • Capacity Range: 1~5ml
  • Temperature Range: -30~80°C (NR) / -60~200°C (VMQ)
  • Applications: Liquid transfer, reagent dispensing, micro-operations

III. Material & Manufacturing

Manufactured from high-quality natural rubber (NR) as the standard option, with silicone rubber (VMQ) available upon request. Produced via precision compression molding with uniform wall thickness, smooth surfaces, and no odor.

VMQ offers a wider temperature range (-60~200°C) for high or low temperature applications.

Applications

Typical Applications

Basic liquid handling in student experiments

Applicable Fields

  • Chemistry Labs
  • Biology Labs
  • Teaching Labs
  • Pharmaceutical Industry

Selection Guide

I. Select by Capacity

CapacityApplications
1mlMicro-liquid transfer, fine operations
2~3mlGeneral liquid transfer, reagent dispensing (most common)
5mlLarger volume liquid transfer

II. Select by Material

  • NR: Good elasticity, economical — general lab use
  • VMQ: Wide temperature range (-60~200°C) — for special temperature environments

💡 Selection Tips: General labs choose NR 2~3ml dropper bulbs.
High/low temperature choose VMQ.
Micro operations choose 1ml capacity.
Ensure the bulb ID closely matches the glass dropper OD.

Operation & Maintenance

User Guide

03

I. Installation

  1. Select a bulb matching your glass dropper ID
  2. Gently expand the bulb opening
  3. Insert the glass dropper top into the bulb
  4. Rotate gently to achieve a tight fit
04

II. Usage

  1. Insert the dropper into the liquid to be transferred
  2. Compress the bulb to expel air
  3. Release the bulb to aspirate liquid
  4. Move to target container and compress to dispense

💡 Tips from Experienced Technicians: "Match the size" — Bulb ID should be slightly smaller than glass dropper OD.
"Avoid overstretching" — Don't overstretch the bulb during installation.
"Replace regularly" — Replace bulbs every 6~12 months as elasticity decreases.
"Material selection" — High temperature reagents choose VMQ.
