Product Description

The single-mark pipette is one of the most precise liquid transfer instruments in quantitative analysis, featuring a single ring graduation mark indicating a fixed volume. Manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3 with clear, accurate markings. Compliant with ISO 648 standards — an ideal choice for standard solution preparation, precision pipetting, and volumetric analysis.

Two Series · Flexible Selection

RichTech offers Single-Mark Pipettes and Graduated Pipettes:

1. Single-Mark Pipettes

  • Single ring graduation mark for fixed volume measurement.
  • Highest accuracy class, ideal for standard solution preparation and precision analysis.
  • ISO 648 compliant, Class A accuracy.

2. Graduated Pipettes

  • Graduations from zero to tip for variable volume measurement.
  • Supports both full-outflow and blow-out operation methods.
  • Flexible liquid measurement and transfer.

Design Features

  • Single-Mark Design: A single ring graduation mark indicates the fixed volume, minimizing reading errors for maximum precision.
  • Clear Graduation: White or blue markings for accurate meniscus reading.
  • High Transparency: Pure, clear glass for easy observation.
  • Uniform Wall Thickness: Even thickness for strength and durability.

Material Advantage

Manufactured from Borosilicate Glass 3.3 in accordance with ISO 3585 standards. The ultra-low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3×10⁻⁶/K) ensures resistance to thermal shock up to 280°C.

Quality Assurance

Every piece undergoes rigorous dimensional inspection, accuracy verification, and visual inspection to meet ISO 648 Class A requirements.

Note: Single-mark pipettes are designed for fixed volume measurement. Confirm the nominal volume before use. Ensure the pipette is clean and dry to maintain accuracy.

Applications

Common Configurations

  • Pipette + Pipette Filler/Bulb Manual precision pipetting
  • Pipette + Pipette Stand Safe storage and drying
  • Volumetric Flask + Pipette Standard solution preparation and dilution

Specific Applications

Standard Solution Preparation

Precise measurement of standard materials or stock solutions

Volumetric Analysis

Sample measurement in titrations

Sample Transfer

Precise liquid sample transfer

Dilution Operations

Precise sample dilution

Teaching Labs

Analytical chemistry education

Pharmaceutical QC

API content determination

Environmental Monitoring

Precise water sample measurement

Tip: Single-mark pipettes are particularly suitable for quantitative analysis requiring precise measurement of fixed volumes. Ensure the pipette is clean and dry before use. Read the meniscus at eye level with the lowest point of the curve.

Pipette Procedure

03

Preparation

  • Inspect the pipette for cracks, scratches, or other defects.
  • Ensure the pipette is clean and dry before use.
  • Select the appropriate pipette for the required volume.
04

Pipetting (Single-Mark Pipette)

  • Use a pipette filler or bulb to draw liquid up to approximately 2–3cm above the graduation mark.
  • Wipe the outer wall with filter paper and hold the tip against the inner wall of the receiving container.
  • Slowly release liquid until the meniscus reaches the graduation mark.
  • Read the volume with your eye level with the lowest point of the meniscus.
  • Transfer the liquid completely to the receiving container, keeping the pipette tip against the container wall.
  • Wait 2–3 seconds for the final drop to drain before removing the pipette.
05

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean immediately after use to prevent residue from drying.
  • Use dilute acid or specialized cleaning agents for stubborn residues.
  • Rinse with distilled water and air-dry on a pipette stand.
  • Store carefully to avoid chipping and breakage.

Tip: Single-mark pipettes are the most precise manual pipetting tools in quantitative analysis. Proper use and maintenance significantly extend service life and preserve accuracy. Clean and dry thoroughly after each use.

Care & Notes

Show care & notes

Safety Notes

  • Inspect pipettes for cracks or scratches before use — damaged glass may break during use.
  • When handling corrosive liquids, wear additional protective equipment, including safety goggles and gloves.
Do not
  • Never pipette by mouth — always use a pipette filler or pipette controller.
  • Do not use pipettes for hot liquids — thermal expansion may affect accuracy.
  • Handle and store with care, avoiding impact with hard surfaces.
