Product Description

I. Overview

The plastic dropping bottle is an essential tool for precision liquid dispensing and micro-sampling in the laboratory. Manufactured from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) through precision blow molding, offering flexibility, durability, and lightweight construction.

The integrated dropper tip design is the key feature — the tip is molded as a single piece with the bottle body, eliminating seams and leak risks. Squeezing the bottle body controls drop speed and volume with precision. Equipped with a PP leak-proof cap for secure reagent storage.

Available in natural (translucent) and white colors. The white bottle contains UV-blocking agents to protect light-sensitive samples such as photo-sensitive reagents and biochemical diagnostics. Capacities range from 3ml to 125ml, suitable for precision titration, micro-sampling, reagent dispensing, and more.

🔬 Color Selection:
Natural (Translucent) — Allows easy viewing of liquid level and remaining volume — suitable for routine reagents.
White — UV-blocking protection for light-sensitive samples (vitamins, antibiotics, fluorescent reagents, etc.).

II. Core Performance Parameters

  • Material: Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), cap: polypropylene (PP)
  • Process: Precision blow molding, integrated dropper tip
  • Dropper Design: Integrated, uniform drop dispensing
  • Cap Specifications: 8-425 / 15-415 / 20-410 (varies by capacity)
  • Temperature Range: -20℃ ~ 80℃
  • Chemical Compatibility: Dilute acids (≤10%), dilute alkalis (≤10%), salt solutions, most organic solvents
  • Sterilization: Not autoclavable

III. Material & Workmanship

Manufactured from imported food-grade LDPE resin through precision blow molding. The integrated dropper tip and bottle body are molded as a single piece, eliminating leak risks. The cap is made of PP material for a secure seal.

All products are assembled and packaged in cleanroom environments to ensure contamination-free surfaces.

Selection Guide

I. By Color

Reagent TypeRecommended ColorReason
Light-sensitive (vitamins, antibiotics)WhiteUV protection
Routine reagentsNaturalTranslucent for level viewing
Biochemical diagnosticsWhiteLight protection preserves activity

II. By Capacity

  • 3ml: Micro titration, valuable standards, high-activity reagents
  • 10ml: Routine micro-sampling, indicator storage
  • 15ml: Small volume dispensing, precision titration (most common)
  • 30ml: Routine reagent dispensing, biochemical diagnostics
  • 60ml: Large volume titration, bulk reagent dispensing
  • 125ml: Large volume reagent storage, continuous titration

💡 Selection Tip: 15ml natural dropping bottle is the most commonly used size in laboratories.
For light-sensitive reagents, choose white dropping bottles for optimal protection.
For micro-precision titration, choose 3ml or 10ml sizes for better drop control.

Operation & Maintenance

User Guide

Below are standard operating guidelines for plastic dropping bottles. Proper use ensures accurate dispensing and product longevity.

03

I. Pre-use Preparation

  • Inspect for cracks, deformation, and dropper tip integrity
  • Rinse with distilled or deionized water and air dry
  • Confirm material compatibility with the reagent
  • Fill the bottle with the desired reagent and secure the cap
04

II. Dispensing Operation

  1. Remove the cap and position the dropper tip over the target container
  2. Gently squeeze the bottle body to control drop speed
  3. Average drop volume is approximately 44µL ±6µL (typical value)
  4. Wipe any residual liquid from the tip with the bottle neck
  5. Immediately secure the cap to prevent evaporation and contamination
05

III. Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Rinse promptly after use and air dry
  • Stubborn residues: use mild neutral detergent, rinse with distilled water
  • Never use hard brushes or abrasives on the inner wall
  • Do not store corrosive reagents long-term
  • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight

💡 From a Seasoned Lab Technician: "Three keys — vertical tip, steady squeeze, seal promptly" — Keep the tip vertical, squeeze evenly, and seal immediately after use.
"White for light-sensitive, natural for routine" — Use white bottles for light-sensitive reagents and natural for routine use.
"Dedicated bottles for different reagents" — Use dedicated dropping bottles for different reagents to avoid cross-contamination.
