Product Description

I. Overview

The PTFE waste liquid tank is manufactured from high-purity PTFE resin through cold pressing and high-temperature sintering. Integrally molded with no welded seams, it offers structural strength, resistance to strong acids and alkalis, and excellent sealing.

Ideal for collection, storage, and transfer of corrosive laboratory waste liquids. Optional bottom outlet valve available for convenient draining. Features graduation marks for easy level monitoring — the ideal container for laboratory waste management.

Available in sizes from 10L to 100L, widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, semiconductor, environmental testing, and academic research industries.

II. Core Performance Parameters

  • Purity: High-purity PTFE with ultra-low metal leaching (Pb, U < 0.01ppb)
  • Operating Temperature: -200℃ ~ +250℃
  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to HF, aqua regia, concentrated H₂SO₄, HNO₃, strong alkalis, and organic solvents
  • Surface Properties: Non-stick, low friction coefficient, easy to clean
  • Sealing Performance: Sealing cap with optional bottom outlet valve

III. Material & Workmanship

Manufactured from imported high-purity PTFE resin, precision cold-pressed in molds, and sintered in high-temperature furnaces — ensuring dense structure, smooth surface, and bubble-free finish. The integrally molded design eliminates welded seams, removing the risk of seam leakage.

All products are assembled and packaged in cleanroom environments to ensure contamination-free surfaces.

Selection Guide

I. By Capacity

Lab ScaleRecommended CapacityApplications
Small Lab10L ~ 20LMicro experiments, teaching labs
Medium Lab30L ~ 50LResearch, testing laboratories
Large Lab60L ~ 100LIndustrial production, bulk experiments

II. By Drainage Method

  • Sealing Cap: Standard configuration, ideal for short-term storage and transfer
  • Bottom Outlet Valve: Optional, ideal for large tanks requiring frequent draining

💡 Selection Tip: Choose a tank capacity 2~3× your daily waste generation to provide buffer capacity. For highly corrosive waste (HF, aqua regia), PTFE is the only reliable choice. For frequent draining, choose the bottom outlet valve configuration.

Operation & Maintenance

User Guide

Standard operating guidelines for PTFE waste liquid tanks. Proper use and maintenance significantly extend product life and ensure laboratory safety.

03

I. Pre-use Preparation

  • Inspect the tank for cracks, deformations, and ensure the sealing cap is intact
  • Clean the tank inside and out with ultrapure water or appropriate solvent to remove manufacturing residues
  • Ensure the tank is placed on a stable, well-ventilated surface
  • If equipped with a bottom outlet valve, check valve sealing
04

II. Waste Collection Operation

  1. Place the tank in a stable, well-ventilated designated area
  2. Open the sealing cap and carefully pour waste into the tank to avoid splashing
  3. Fill volume should not exceed 90% of capacity to allow for expansion
  4. Seal the cap promptly after each addition to prevent volatilization and odor spread
  5. Monitor graduation marks regularly and record level changes
05

III. Waste Transfer Operation

  • Confirm the sealing cap is secure before transfer — close the bottom valve if equipped
  • Use a dedicated cart or handling tool — avoid dragging
  • Keep the tank upright during transfer to prevent tipping
  • Upon arrival, transfer waste to designated disposal containers per regulations
06

IV. Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Routine Cleaning: Clean promptly after use with ultrapure water or appropriate solvent
  • Stubborn Residues: Soak in dilute nitric acid — PTFE's non-stick surface makes cleaning easy
  • Valve Maintenance: Check valve sealing regularly — replace seals as needed
  • Storage: Store clean and dry in a clean environment

💡 From a Seasoned Lab Technician: "Waste management is the first line of defense for lab safety" — Different waste types should be segregated — never mix incompatible wastes (e.g., acids with alkalis, oxidizers with reducers).
Place waste tanks in secondary containment trays to contain accidental spills.
Clearly label each tank with waste type, hazard classification, and accumulation date.
For large tanks (> 50L), a bottom outlet valve is recommended for safer, easier draining.

⚠️ Safety & Compliance Checklist

Labeling

Clearly label with waste type, hazard classification, and date

Protective Equipment

Wear safety goggles, lab coat, and acid/alkali resistant gloves

Ventilation

Waste storage areas must maintain good ventilation

Compliance

Waste management should follow laboratory safety regulations and environmental requirements

Do not
  • Segregation: Different waste types must be stored separately — never mix
