Product Description
I. Overview
The PTFE funnel is precision-molded from high-purity PTFE resin,
offering exceptional chemical resistance, non-stick properties,
and wide temperature tolerance. The smooth inner surface ensures
smooth liquid flow with no residue or adhesion — ideal for transfer
and filtration of corrosive liquids.
Compared to traditional glass funnels, PTFE funnels offer overwhelming
chemical resistance — compatible with hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia,
concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids, and virtually all aggressive
reagents — without surface degradation or sample contamination.
PTFE funnels maintain stable performance from -196℃ to 260℃.
Available in five sizes (31mm, 53mm, 85mm, 105mm, 160mm) with
optimized stem diameters for compatibility with all laboratory
receiving vessels (beakers, volumetric flasks, reagent bottles, etc.).
Widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, semiconductor, and
environmental testing laboratories.
II. Core Performance Parameters
- Purity: High-purity PTFE with ultra-low metal leaching (Pb, U < 0.01ppb)
- Operating Temperature: -196℃ ~ 260℃, short-term up to 300℃
- Surface Energy: 18.5 mN/m (lowest among solid materials)
- Chemical Resistance: Resistant to HF, aqua regia, concentrated H₂SO₄, HNO₃, strong alkalis, organic solvents
- Surface: Non-stick, low friction, minimal liquid residue
- Sterilization: Autoclavable (121℃, 2bar) or dry heat sterilization
III. Material & Workmanship
Manufactured from imported high-purity PTFE resin using precision
cold pressing and gradient sintering in cleanroom environments —
ensuring a dense, bubble-free structure with a smooth, uniform surface.
Both inner and outer surfaces are finely polished with smooth,
rounded edges — no burrs that could scratch benchtops or damage filter paper.
Each product undergoes rigorous visual and dimensional inspection
to ensure precision and surface quality.
