Product Description

I. Overview

PTFE tweezers are precision-manufactured from high-purity PTFE resin, available in full PTFE and stainless handle + PTFE tip versions. Full PTFE tweezers are designed for highly corrosive environments ensuring zero metal ion contamination. Stainless handle + PTFE tip tweezers offer superior mechanical strength and handling comfort for routine laboratory use.

PTFE's extremely low surface tension (18.5 mN/m) provides non-stick properties — minimal sample residue and easy cleaning. Precision-ground tips provide smooth, flat gripping surfaces that will not damage samples.

Available in 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, and 300mm lengths with straight, curved, pointed, and flat tip options. Widely used in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, environmental testing, and materials science laboratories for sample handling, transfer, and positioning.

III. Material & Workmanship

Full PTFE tweezers are precision-molded or machined from imported high-purity PTFE resin — smooth surfaces, no burrs, flat gripping faces. Stainless handle + PTFE tip tweezers combine stainless steel handles with precision-attached PTFE tips for excellent mechanical strength and chemical inertness.

Tips are precision-ground to provide smooth, flat gripping surfaces that will not scratch or contaminate samples. Handle tension is optimally balanced for comfortable extended use.

All products are manufactured and packaged in cleanroom environments to ensure particle-free, contaminant-free surfaces.

💡 Selection Tip: For highly corrosive environments (HF, aqua regia operations), always choose Full PTFE tweezers — no metal parts exposed.
For precision handling (micro-samples, electronic components), choose Stainless handle + PTFE tip tweezers, pointed 1mm.
For general laboratory use, Stainless handle + PTFE tip, straight 150mm is the most versatile choice.
Length selection: Spacious workspace → short tweezers (100-150mm); deep vessels or tight spaces → long tweezers (200-300mm).

Operation & Maintenance

User Guide

Standard operating guidelines for PTFE tweezers. Proper use and maintenance ensure handling precision and product longevity.

I. Pre-use Preparation

Inspect the tips — ensure gripping surfaces are smooth and undamaged
Check tension — ensure gripping force is appropriate
Clean with ultrapure water or appropriate solvent to remove surface particles
For cleanroom applications, open and use in a clean environment

II. Handling Operation

Hold the handle with thumb and forefinger to control gripping force
Position the tips over the target sample — grip gently
Apply moderate force — avoid excessive pressure that might damage the sample or tweezers
Maintain steady control during transfer to prevent sample drop

III. Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean with ultrapure water or appropriate solvent after use — PTFE's non-stick surface makes cleaning easy
Stubborn residues may be soaked in dilute nitric acid
Air dry or wipe dry
Store in a clean, dry location — avoid tip deformation from pressure

IV. Important Notes

Avoid tip impact with hard objects — prevent deformation or damage
Avoid exceeding rated temperature during prolonged use
Never use hard brushes or abrasives for cleaning
Full PTFE tweezers are relatively soft — use care when handling heavy objects
For stainless handle + PTFE tip tweezers, avoid impact between the PTFE tip and hard surfaces

💡 From a Seasoned Lab Technician: "Gentle grip, steady hand" — PTFE is relatively soft, avoid excessive force during gripping to prevent tip damage or sample surface marks.
For micro-samples, use pointed 1mm tweezers — a light touch is sufficient (PTFE's low surface tension helps).
After use in corrosive environments, clean the tweezers immediately to prevent chemical residue from attacking the surface.
When using curved tweezers, leverage the angled tip to reach samples in tight spaces.
