Product Description

I. Overview

The plastic cell culture flask is an essential consumable for adherent cell expansion and passaging in the laboratory. Manufactured from high-clarity polystyrene (PS) through precision injection molding, featuring a smooth, uniform inner surface and high transparency for easy microscopic observation of cell growth.

Available in T25, T75, and T175 sizes to meet different cell culture scale requirements. Available in TC-treated and super-hydrophilic treated surfaces — TC-treated surfaces are suitable for adhesion and spreading of common cell lines; super-hydrophilic treated surfaces are suitable for difficult-to-culture cells or low-serum conditions. Available with vented and sealed caps — vented caps allow gas exchange, sealed caps are suitable for controlled gas environment culture. Sterilized by gamma irradiation, sterile individually wrapped, DNase/RNase-free, pyrogen-free, and non-cytotoxic.

The ergonomic bottle design facilitates handling, and the neck angle is optimized for pipette and cell scraper access. Suitable for adherent cell expansion, passaging, and long-term maintenance culture.

🔬 Product Advantages:
High-Clarity PS — Easy microscopic observation of cell growth
Multiple Sizes — T25/T75/T175 for different culture scales
Multiple Surfaces — TC-treated / Super-hydrophilic for different cell types
Two Cap Options — Vented / Sealed for flexible culture conditions
Sterile Individually Wrapped — DNase/RNase-free, pyrogen-free, non-cytotoxic

  • Sizes: T25 / T75 / T175
  • Surfaces: TC-treated / Super-hydrophilic / Untreated
  • Cap Types: Vented (with 0.22μm filter membrane) / Sealed
  • Sterilization: Gamma irradiated
  • Packaging: Individually wrapped
  • Quality: DNase/RNase-free, pyrogen-free, non-cytotoxic
  • Temperature Range: -20℃ ~ 60℃

III. Material & Workmanship

Manufactured from medical-grade polystyrene (PS) resin in a cleanroom environment. The flask inner surface is smooth and uniform to ensure even cell adhesion and growth. The ergonomic design facilitates handling, and the neck angle is optimized for pipette and cell scraper access.

Surface treatment is applied using vacuum plasma treatment technology to ensure surface hydrophilicity and uniformity. Super-hydrophilic surfaces are modified with special chemical treatments to enhance cell adhesion and growth efficiency. Vented caps are equipped with 0.22μm hydrophobic filter membranes that allow gas exchange while preventing microbial contamination. Every batch undergoes rigorous dimensional and visual inspection to ensure consistent quality.

Selection Guide

I. By Size

Culture ScaleRecommended SizeUse Case
Small-scale culture, passagingT25Small cell expansion, precious cell line maintenance
Medium-scale cultureT75Routine cell expansion, experimental cell preparation
Large-scale cultureT175Large cell expansion, large-scale experiments

II. By Cap Type

Culture RequirementRecommended CapUse Case
Routine cell culture (gas exchange needed)VentedMost adherent cell cultures
Controlled gas environmentSealedHypoxia culture, special gas conditions
Long-term maintenance cultureVentedReduces media evaporation, maintains pH stability

💡 Selection Tip: T75 vented cap TC-treated flask is the most commonly used size.
For large-scale expansion, choose T175.
For routine passaging, choose T75.
For long-term maintenance, choose vented cap.
For difficult cells or primary cells, choose super-hydrophilic surface.

Operation & Maintenance

User Guide

Below are standard operating guidelines for plastic cell culture flasks. Proper use ensures culture results and experimental reliability.

03

I. Pre-use Preparation

  • Inspect packaging integrity and flask condition
  • Check the sterilization expiry date
  • Perform all operations in a laminar flow hood or biosafety cabinet
  • Prepare culture media, cell suspension, and other materials
04

II. Culture Operation

  1. Open the sterile packaging in the laminar flow hood
  2. Add cell suspension to the flask
  3. Gently shake the flask to distribute cells evenly
  4. Secure the cap (keep vented cap slightly loose)
  5. Place the flask in the incubator with the cap facing up
  6. Monitor cell growth regularly as required
05

III. Disposal

  • Dispose of used flasks in biohazard waste containers
  • Flasks used for cell culture should be disposed according to biosafety regulations

💡 From a Seasoned Lab Technician: "Sterile technique is the lifeline of cell culture" — All operations must be performed in a laminar flow hood or biosafety cabinet.
"Vented for culture, sealed for transport" — Use vented caps for culture, switch to sealed caps for transport to prevent media leakage.
"T75 is the golden standard" — T75 is the most commonly used flask size, balancing yield and handling convenience.
"Label clearly" — Mark the flask body with cell name, passage number, date, etc.
