I. Overview

Plastic pipette tips are among the most frequently used consumables in laboratory liquid handling. Manufactured from high-purity polypropylene (PP) through precision injection molding, featuring straight body, high transparency, and smooth inner walls.

Available in 10μl, 200μl, 300μl, 1000μl, 1250μl, 5ml, 10ml and more, with bag and rack packaging options. Sterile tips are gamma irradiated, DNase/RNase-free, pyrogen-free.

Optimized tip design ensures compatibility with DLAB and other major brand pipettes, providing excellent sealing and pipetting accuracy. The highly smooth surface effectively prevents sample retention.

💡 Selection Tip: 200μl yellow tips are the most commonly used size in laboratories.
For sterile operations, choose racked sterile tips.
For bulk routine operations, choose bagged tips for cost efficiency.

Operation & Maintenance

User Guide

Below are standard operating guidelines for plastic pipette tips. Proper use ensures pipetting accuracy and experimental reliability.

I. Pre-use Preparation

Inspect packaging integrity and tip condition
Confirm tip specification matches pipette range
For sterile tips, verify sterilization expiry date
For non-sterile tips requiring sterility, autoclave before use (121℃, 15min)

II. Pipetting Operation

Press the tip vertically onto the pipette cone to ensure a secure seal
Immerse the tip 2-3mm below the liquid surface
Slowly release the pipette button to aspirate liquid
Dispense liquid by touching the tip against the container wall
Press the ejector button to discard the used tip

III. Disposal

Dispose of used tips in sharps containers or biohazard waste containers
Tips used with biohazardous samples should be disposed according to biosafety regulations
Tips used with chemical hazards should be disposed according to chemical waste regulations

💡 From a Seasoned Lab Technician: "Seal is key — press firmly" — Incomplete sealing leads to inaccurate pipetting and leakage.
"Aspirate slowly, dispense against the wall" — Fast aspiration creates bubbles; wall dispensing reducesresidue.
"Dedicated tips for different samples" — Use different tips for different samples to prevent cross-contamination.
"Single-use only" — Pipette tips are single-use consumables — do not reuse.
